A few of the engagements we can talk about. Clients stay anonymous; the numbers are theirs.
SERVICES
Six practices, one team. We staff each engagement with the mix of strategists, operators and specialists the problem needs, not the one we happen to sell.
HOW WE WORK
Every engagement follows the same four steps. What changes is how long each takes and who from your side is in the room.
01
2โ4 weeks
Diagnose
We take the business apart with your numbers, your customers and your front line, and agree what is really driving the problem.
02
3โ6 weeks
Decide
We put two or three real options in front of the board, each with its cost, its risk and what it asks of your people.
03
3โ12 months
Deliver
Our team works inside yours to land the plan: owners, milestones, a weekly cadence and a scorecard everyone can read.
04
Ongoing
Sustain
We hand over the tools and the habits, then check in at six and twelve months to make sure the gains have held.
WHY VERTEX
Our clients are boards and executive teams with a lot riding on one call. They choose us for three reasons.
On most engagements part of our fee depends on results we agree up front, measured by your finance team.
The partner who wins the work leads it, and spends at least two days a week with your team.
No software to sell
We have no products, alliances or referral fees, so our advice is the only thing on the table.

INSIGHTS
All insights
What size of company do you work with?
Most of our clients have revenue between $500 million and $20 billion, along with private equity firms and public bodies of similar scale. We take on smaller companies when the question is a good fit for how we work.
How are your fees structured?
We agree a fixed fee for each phase before it starts. On most delivery work, up to a third of the fee depends on results we define together and your finance team measures.
How quickly can you start?
A partner will call you within two working days of a request. A diagnostic can usually start within three weeks of that first conversation.
Do you work alongside other advisors?
Often. We regularly work next to your auditors, bankers, lawyers and technology partners, and we agree who owns what on day one so nobody pays twice for the same work.
Who will actually be on the team?
You meet the partner and the engagement manager before you sign, and approve the rest of the team by name. There is no bait and switch after the pitch.
